Demand Planner

Job Purpose

The purpose of the job is to ensure the most appropriate use of statistical models and other inputs to develop a robust, unbiased and comprehensive baseline sales forecast across an assigned Therapy/SKU portfolio.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's in supply chain/ B.E / BBA is required for this role.
• 1-1.5 years of experience in a relevant field is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced numerical skills with expertise in supply chain forecasting systems, preferably SAP IBP/APO, and related processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
• Strong planning capabilities and the ability to work independently with initiative
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assign the appropriate forecast models in SAP IBP to support forecasting of the existing SKU portfolio as well as the launch of new products or line extensions
• Execute statistical baseline forecast in Stats Forecast applications in line with the agreed planning calendar
• Deliver Master data maintenance and validation in SAP IBP
• Prepare monthly exception review template for statistical forecast outcome and discuss with the demand forecasting manager to incorporate their feedback into the baseline forecast
• Track baseline KPI performance & alert reports to take appropriate actions for the improvement of overall statistical forecast
• Actively resolve and escalate system/technical issues for timely execution of Stats forecast activities
• Support CCC teams in uploading the commercial forecast in SAP APO.
