Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure the optimal use of statistical models and other inputs to develop a robust, unbiased, and comprehensive baseline sales forecast for an assigned Therapy/SKU portfolio.

Education, Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, B.E, or BBA is required.
  • 1 to 1.5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced numerical skills, with expertise in supply chain forecasting systems, preferably SAP IBP/APO, and related processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to work independently with initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assign appropriate forecast models in SAP IBP for existing SKUs and new product launches.
  2. Execute statistical baseline forecasts in Stats Forecast applications according to the planning calendar.
  3. Maintain and validate master data in SAP IBP.
  4. Prepare monthly exception review templates for forecast outcomes and discuss with the demand forecasting manager for feedback incorporation.
  5. Monitor baseline KPI performance and alert reports to improve statistical forecast accuracy.
  6. Resolve and escalate system/technical issues promptly to ensure timely forecast activities.
  7. Support CCC teams in uploading commercial forecasts in SAP APO.
