We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented individual to join our team as a Technical Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be tasked with creating new business prospects and expanding our clientele by leveraging different freelancing platforms. Your primary focus will be on driving growth and increasing revenue by identifying and connecting with potential clients, fostering strong relationships, and finalizing agreements. The ideal candidate should have a successful background in business development and possess comprehensive knowledge of freelancing platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and prospect potential clients across various freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and Guru.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of our products/services (Software development/IT Services) and effectively convey their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Generate compelling proposals, bids, and pitches customized to meet the specific requirements of each project or client.
  • Actively engage with potential clients through direct messaging, emails, and calls to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in policies and algorithms of freelancing platforms.
  • Work as a bridge between the potential client and our team.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze platform performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhance our presence and visibility.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, including lead generation, sales conversion rates, and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science.
  • Previous proven work experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, particularly within the software development or IT services industry, would be beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and Guru, as well as an understanding of their policies and algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively engage with potential clients and convey value propositions. Proficiency in creating compelling proposals, bids, and pitches tailored to meet project requirements is valuable.
  • The ability to identify and prospect potential clients, generate leads, and secure new business opportunities is crucial. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals is also important.
  • The capacity to analyze platform performance metrics, stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, and make data-driven decisions to optimize efforts is advantageous.
  • Capability to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients while maximizing profitability and maintaining customer satisfaction is desirable.
  • Experience or knowledge in IT Services and IT Consulting is a plus.
