About the Role:

Remotiv is hiring a Senior System Engineer for one of our client partners. We're looking for an experienced technical support specialist with deep expertise in Windows Servers, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and server migrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex infrastructure, providing advanced technical support, and ensuring enterprise-grade system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced technical support for Windows Server environments (installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting).
  • Lead server migrations and upgrades (on-prem to cloud and cloud-to-cloud).
  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure services including VMs, Active Directory, and security configurations.
  • Ensure high system performance and availability through proactive monitoring and routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Maintain documentation, change logs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor junior support staff and assist in knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior technical support or systems engineering role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
  • Proven experience in server migrations (on-prem to Azure, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Exchange Online.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS/DHCP.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting (a plus).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
