We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level System Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, as well as provide onsite technical support to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting operating systems, software, and hardware.
  • Support the maintenance and monitoring of IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Provide first-level technical support and respond to user inquiries and issues.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Participate in system backups, recovery procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports.
  • Visit customer sites within the city or outside city limits to provide onsite technical support, installations, and system troubleshooting.

Must have Skills:

  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server 2019 and 2022.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Internship or academic project experience in system administration or IT support.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
