Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on two positions in the Department of Environmental Sciences, under The ILSI RESEARCH FOUNDATION project No. BRPGP006-13, titled "Linking Cry-protein persistence with microbial diversity, enzymatic activity, nutrient cycling and gaseous emissions in soils under Bt cotton in Punjab" with the following terms and conditions.

CompensationHonorarium: Rs. 10,000/- per month per post (Consolidated)
QualificationQualification: M.Sc/M.Phil Environmental or related sciences/engineering
ExperienceExperience: Candidate having good working experience related to the soil biogeochemical analyses, soil microbiology, greenhouse studies, and report writing will be preferred.
DutiesDuties and responsibilities: Working in both field soil sampling, lab incubations, biochemical analyses, preparing project report, writing new proposals and manuscript writing.
Project informationProject information: The project duration is 12 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
