Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. File all tax returns, including income and sales tax, and manage import documents.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial data, preparing reports and financial statements.
  4. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  5. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
  6. Manage and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance and support.
  7. Conduct regular financial audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals and objectives.
  9. Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
  10. Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and processes.
Job Specification
  1. Proven experience as a Head of Accounts or similar role in the import and export industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Strong time management and organizational skills.
  9. Ability to handle a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines.
