Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- File all tax returns, including income and sales tax, and manage import documents.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, preparing reports and financial statements.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular financial audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals and objectives.
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and processes.
- Proven experience as a Head of Accounts or similar role in the import and export industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines.
