Job Summary:
We are hiring a Business Development Associate to help drive partnerships, client engagement and program success. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding Tajarba's outreach through strategic partnerships, managing lead pipelines and supporting the onboarding and engagement of clients and fellows. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for education, youth development and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential partners including universities, education platforms and youth networks.
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, email, cold calls and in-person networking.
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and track outreach performance.
2. Partnership Development
- Initiate, manage and nurture relationships with academic institutions and educational enterprises.
- Coordinate meetings, develop partnership proposals and support negotiation processes.
- Follow up to convert interest into formal partnerships or MOUs.
3. Client & Fellow Onboarding
- Support the onboarding of individual clients for Tajarba's education advisory vertical.
- Assist in designing application and mentorship journeys tailored to client goals.
- Manage client communications and maintain high engagement throughout their lifecycle.
4. Program & Event Coordination
- Assist in the planning and execution of workshops, info sessions and special programs.
- Liaise with mentors, guest speakers and attendees for seamless event operations.
- Ensure timely communication and logistical coordination for all stakeholders.
5. Marketing & Brand Awareness
- Collaborate on content and campaign ideas to promote programs and partnership success stories.
- Contribute to Tajarba's digital presence by assisting with social media, newsletters and outreach material.
- Identify student communities and forums for visibility and lead acquisition.
Required Skills & Tools:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Negotiation and stakeholder management
- Event and project coordination
- CRM tools (preferred but not mandatory)
- Youth and community engagement experience is a plus
