Position: BI

Qualifications: Prefer ACCA and MBA in Finance with 5+ years of experience in relevant service industries.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the accounting operations of the company and its branches.
  2. Operate and control an organizational structure within the accounts and finance section.
  3. Facilitate the achievement of the department's short-term goals and long-term objectives.
  4. Manage and mentor junior personnel in the accounting department.
  5. Supervise transaction-processing operations.
  6. Oversee any outsourced accounting functions.
  7. Maintain an organized and orderly filing system of all accounting documents.
  8. Collaborate with external auditors as needed.
  9. Coordinate with colleagues to prepare the company's annual report.
  10. Produce the annual budget and predict budget forecasts.
  11. Maintain a comprehensive system of accounting records.
  12. Maintain an adequate system of budgets and controls created to mitigate risk.
  13. Generate financial reports periodically.
  14. Ensure the accuracy of the organization's financial results and reports.
  15. Ensure that financial reports comply with current accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  16. Publish complete and timely financial statements to company executives, shareholders, and the board.
  17. Account for any budget variances and report significant discrepancies to management.
  18. Recommend benchmarks for the measurement of company financial performance goals.
  19. Analyze capital investments, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions.
  20. Comply with all local, state, and federal tax filings and reporting requirements.
  21. File quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
  22. Schedule payments for accounts payable promptly.
  23. Schedule timely payments for debt repayment.
  24. Find and implement reasonable discounts for accounts payable as appropriate.
  25. Ensure prompt collection of accounts receivable.
  26. Complete periodic bank reconciliations.
  27. Maintain a system of controls over all transactions.

Job Specification

Team player with time management skills and a good track record. ACCA Qualified and MBA in Finance preferred. Expertise in tax matters handling with FBR, SRB, and PRA.
