Job DescriptionThe Business Applications Specialist is responsible for driving growth and adoption of Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, across public and private sector industries. The Business Applications Specialist will be instrumental in shaping future projects and client engagements by identifying new opportunities and demonstrating the value of Microsoft Business Apps and supporting the alignment of Stallions Solutions' Cloud and AI consultancy and managed services practices.
This involves delivering technical pre-sales engagements, developing effective solutions and services with technical teams, and building relationships across Microsoft and client organizations. The specialist will also contribute to thought leadership, content creation, and event participation to promote Microsoft Business Applications and support organizational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deep knowledge of Microsoft's Dynamics 365 stack and understanding of relevant business challenges.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new clients.
- Create sales content and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to showcase capabilities and value.
- Act as an advocate for Microsoft Business Applications, promoting benefits through webinars, conferences, blogs, and social media.
- Prepare and deliver demos and POCs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
- Assist in bid estimation and planning.
- Participate in Microsoft Partner activities and programs.
- Lead pre-sales activities for Dynamics 365, including requirements gathering, scoping, and demos.
- Support deal management and CRM usage for sales visibility.
- Conduct sales enablement activities to highlight cloud capabilities and benefits.
- Support data security and adhere to security policies.
- Demonstrate active listening, understanding, and respectful communication.
- Maintain a positive attitude, manage tasks effectively, and foster team collaboration.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding of products/services, features, benefits, and industry trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills, persuasive presentation abilities.
- Relationship Building: Ability to establish trust and credibility with clients and partners.
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Skills in identifying and qualifying potential customers and markets.
- Microsoft Fundamentals certification or higher.
- Minimum of 3 years in a Microsoft-focused technical pre-sales role.
