Lead Manager – Asset Maintenance & Projects

JOB DETAILS:

Qualification & Experience:

Engineering Graduate (Civil) or equivalent qualification with at least 9 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in Oil and Gas Sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, including project managers, engineers, and construction staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Co-ordinate with consultants and contractors for effective quality and quantity of projects.
  • Analyze requirements and prepare corresponding BOQs / cost estimates, commensurate to project requirements.
  • Effective decision-making skills and the ability to navigate challenges.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects undertaken by the AS Department or monitor projects executed through relevant construction departments.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Technically evaluate bids in accordance with the bid document.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, milestones, and standards of workmanship.
  • Monitor and control project costs to meet budgetary constraints and arrange for additional requirements.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment and provide guidance and support to team members when needed.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Ensure contract compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise during the project.
  • Implement risk management plans to safeguard project success.
  • Familiarity with relevant MS Office tools and project management systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the HoD.
