Overview

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a Service Engineer – Cyclotron for its leading client.

Job Title: Service Engineer – Cyclotron

Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Experience Required: 3+ Years
Salary: PKR 150,000 – 200,000/month
Industry: Healthcare / Medical Imaging / Nuclear Medicine

Responsibilities
  • Install, calibrate, and commission cyclotron systems and associated equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on cyclotron machines and sub-systems (vacuum, RF, magnet, and target systems).
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and resolve hardware or software faults in a timely manner.
  • Monitor operational parameters and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed service documentation and ensure regulatory and internal reporting is up to date.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal teams for spare parts, upgrades, and technical support.
  • Train hospital staff and technicians on basic operation and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure uptime of cyclotron machines used in PET-CT and nuclear medicine production workflows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with cyclotron systems (IBA, GE, Siemens, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of RF systems, vacuum pumps, power supplies, PLCs, and radiation protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under high-stakes conditions.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations related to radiation and isotope production.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as required.
