Partnering with the Country GM to drive and implement country strategic plans
  • Partnering with the Country GM in developing strategic plans and translating into robust 5 year plans based upon data analysis and benchmarking.
  • Continual monitoring, evaluation of business performance against strategic plans via appropriate financial metrics, highlighting variances, proposing corrective actions with the Country GM.
  • Establish strong relationships across a network of key stakeholders, providing timely and effective two-way communication on key performance drivers, providing support and challenge as required to support successful business outcomes. Align Finance and IT functional plans to Business strategic direction and priorities.
  • Lead on the Governance element of the business' ESG strategy and contribute more widely towards AB Mauri's ESG vision.

Implementation of Financial Management and Control Environment
  • Responsible for leading the financial reporting cycle (monthly closures and management reports, group reporting, budget, accounts, commentaries and financial statements) respecting financial reporting calendar and reporting into financial consolidation tool (TM1).
  • Oversee all aspect of finance and accounting functions including financial & management reporting, costing analysis, tax compliance and reporting, all aspects of funding and treasury management.
  • Deliver financial performance to the management team and to the Board of Directors.
  • Ensures timely and compliant year end closure and local statutory reporting requirements; maintain compliance with group's internal controls & local statutory standards in Pakistan.
  • Implement and sustain a financial control environment for the entity, ensuring review and risk assessment of all operational and financial controls and related audit activities. To provide regular updates to the board on compliance including plans for corrective actions.
  • Leads active management of overheads identifying areas for efficiencies and savings; supply chain cost analysis and product costing.
  • Supports pricing, market and competitors' analysis impacting business performance and profitability.
  • Monitor cash balances, prepare cash flow forecast and manage working capital (receivables, payables & inventory). Capital expenditure planning, ensuring that funding of investments is highlighted and agreed with the Board in a timely manner.
  • Control banking activities and control FOREX risks/requirements. Review and report the company's financing and investment requirements to the stakeholders and the Board.
  • Leads coordination with both internal and external audit teams, providing all necessary inputs to enable effective outcomes.
  • Manages relationship with auditors, tax advisors, banks and group stakeholders according to company strategy and priorities.
  • Compliance Officer for Pakistan responsible to ensure governance and implementation of Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption policies, including continuous training and awareness across the organization.
  • Responsible to ensure compliant cyber security defences and appropriate data protection policies are effectively implemented, supported with continuous awareness training.
  • Responsible to ensure compliant and accurate tax practices (Direct and Indirect) are implemented and monitored.

Functional Leadership and Development of Finance and IT teams
  • Build a robust Organization Design for Finance and IT with strong capabilities and skills to become valued strategic partners to the business, demonstrating the BFS (Business/Function/Systems) approach to delivery of the five year plans.
  • Ensures a motivated and responsive organization through appropriate staffing, training and coaching of the teams across Finance and IT.
  • Builds the appropriate functional capability to support short- and long-term business strategy.
  • Takes responsibility for own and team development.
  • Collaborates with peers inside and outside of the region to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Acts like change agent to promote and foster a continuous improvement towards high a performance culture across the functions of Finance and IT.
  • Plays a leading role in embedding a compliance and risk management culture throughout the company.
  • Be an effective, accountable, valued and collaborative member of the Pakistan Leadership team.
  • Build and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders

Qualification And Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or Equivalent)
  • 10 years+ of finance functional leadership (FD-1 and above) experience within manufacturing industry
