Responsibilities
  • Provide first level technical support to employees via various communication channels (e.g., in person, email, phone) regarding networking and system hardware, software, and system issues troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and network equipment.
  • Perform routine system checks to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues or vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor CCTV footage regularly to report and check employees' activity, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into suspicious activity based on CCTV footage and collaborate with relevant team to address any security concerns.
  • Verify product returns by cross referencing data and conducting thorough inspections, ensuring compliance with return policies.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues, troubleshooting steps taken, and resolutions provided in a ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical problems and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to networking, system hardware, software, and security monitoring.
  • POS ERP will be preferred.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in IT support or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Familiarity with system hardware components and their functionalities.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software and system issues, including operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux), applications, and hardware peripherals.
  • Ability to handle and analyze CCTV footage to identify and report any suspicious activity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
