Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Upwork Bidder to join our dynamic team in Lahore. As an Upwork Bidder, you will be responsible for identifying relevant projects on the Upwork platform, crafting compelling proposals, and effectively communicating with potential clients to secure new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the IT/Software landscape and excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be working on-site in our Lahore office and will be required to align your working hours with the EST time zone to effectively interact with our international clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively monitor the Upwork platform for relevant IT/Software projects that align with our company's expertise and capabilities.
  • Analyze project requirements and develop tailored, persuasive proposals that highlight our strengths and value proposition.
  • Craft engaging and professional cover letters that address client needs and demonstrate a clear understanding of the project.
  • Effectively communicate with potential clients through Upwork messaging, addressing their inquiries and providing necessary information.
  • Negotiate project scope, timelines, and budgets to secure favorable agreements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our company's services, technologies, and team expertise.
  • Track and report on bidding activities, success rates, and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, design) to gather necessary information for proposals and ensure project feasibility.
  • Stay up-to-date with Upwork platform updates, best practices, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain a professional and positive representation of the company on the Upwork platform.
  • Be willing and able to work during hours that overlap with the EST time zone to facilitate effective communication with clients.

Requirements:

  • 2.5 - 3 years of proven experience working in the IT/Software field.
  • Demonstrable experience with the Upwork platform and a strong understanding of its bidding process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional proposal writing and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with various IT/Software development methodologies, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in using online communication tools and platforms.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in our Lahore office.
  • Must be willing to work in the EST (Eastern Standard Time) time zone.
