Ever wondered how skyscrapers like The Shard get built? It takes a heroic effort across a huge team of designers, builders, and managers to name just a few. At Disperse, we have developed a system that allows us to track the progress of works on a construction site entirely through 360 degree photo-capture. We have in-house teams of "scanners" who take these photos on sites around the world. We use human assisted AI and computer vision to process this data into easily digestible outputs, saving our clients time and effort while reducing the risk of incorrect progress reporting.

We are now looking for a dedicated and organised Junior Operations Assistant who is excited at the opportunity to oversee the day to day work of our site scanning operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, UK and USA.

We need someone who thrives in a social environment, loves interacting with a diverse range of people and who has great attention to detail. You will be responsible for coordinating our freelancers, and for ensuring that everything we do is operating like a well-oiled machine. This role places you at the forefront of our day-to-day operations, giving you responsibility and ownership from day one.

Some of the work that you will be doing includes:

• Managing all communication with the scanning team (freelancers) via a messaging app and phone calls
• Managing photo delivery from scanning team
• Updating Google Sheets once photos are received
• Ensuring scanning schedules are received and acknowledged on time
• Booking Site inductions
• Ensures Risk Assessments and Method Statements are signed and stored
• Managing the Google Drive for site scanners
• Ensuring Notes pages are completed by the scanning team
• Managing the camera equipment
• Assisting with phone interviews and screening CVs for site scanners
• Assisting with onboarding site scanners

Requirements:

• Please note all communications are performed in English so strong language skills are a must
• Excited about working in a start-up environment
• Have a passion for startups and technology
• Thrive at solving problems quickly and keep cool in stressful situations
• Excited about cross-functional teamwork & communication
• Excited to be involved in recruiting freelancers
• Have excellent time management and organisational skills
• Be an excellent written and verbal communicator with a knack for always finding the right tone

In addition, it is useful but not essential, if:

• You have previous customer service experience
• You have previous experience in a startup environment
• Market competitive package
