Role Description

An Industrial Engineer focuses on improving production processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Their role is critical in ensuring smooth operations, reducing waste, and implementing automation.

Process Optimization
  1. Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity.
  2. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Workplace Layout & Efficiency
  1. Design factory layouts for optimal workflow and material movement.
  2. Optimize machine utilization and workforce allocation.
  3. Identify areas to cut costs without compromising quality.
  4. Reduce material waste and energy consumption.
  5. Implement quality control systems and ensure compliance with standards (ISO, Six Sigma).
  6. Design safe working conditions and implement ergonomic practices.
  7. Use statistical tools to monitor production performance.
  8. Implement KPIs to track efficiency, downtime, and waste reduction.
Skills Required
  • Technical Skills: CAD software, ERP systems, Lean Six Sigma
  • Analytical Skills: Data-driven problem-solving, process improvement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering skills
  • Analytical Skills for data analysis and problem-solving
  • Communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Experience in Process Improvement
  • Knowledge of Lean principles is a plus
