Overview

This is a full-time Scrum Master position for Empire Group, the UK\'s leading translation and interpretation company, located in Phase 7, Bahria Town, Islamabad. As a Scrum Master you\'ll develop and lead a high-performing, multi-discipline team, instilling a clear vision and a passionate drive. You\'ll play a leading role in fulfilling the vision, driving the implementation of products and setting standards for teams to follow.

Responsibilities
  • Coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality
  • Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments
  • Causing the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team\'s progress
  • Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
  • Helping Project manager in finding techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
  • Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
  • Helping Product Owner in establishing empirical product planning for a complex environment
  • Helping organization in leading, training, and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption
  • Helping organization in planning and advising Scrum implementations within the organization
  • Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work
  • Use SCRUM development processes and tailor them to project needs
Qualifications
  • BA/BS/MBA degree or equivalent work experience
  • Preferably Scrum Master certification such as SAFe, CSM or PMI-ACP
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience and 2 years leading sprints
  • Demonstrable expertise in agile methodology and frameworks
  • Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Expert coach on implementation of agile Scrum
