Job Title: Account Manager – Car Sharing Business
Location: Working from home and Nearest Branch
Salary: £45k basic with a £54k OTE
Our clients Mobility Group's car sharing business is all about the transition from car ownership to car usage, reducing the overall number of cars in cities and helping organisations reduce their environmental impact.
To achieve this ambition, our client offers individuals and businesses on-street cars in the main European capitals and also works with businesses to provide dedicated fleets of shared vehicles.
We need an experienced and commercially astute professional to help accelerate the growth of our car sharing business across the UK.
In the role you will be supporting the Development Director to manage a portfolio of clients across the UK, providing high quality account management in order to maintain and grow revenue and ensure the long-term success.
Coordinating input from Operations, Technology, Customer Service and Marketing teams to ensure clients are supported and issues are promptly resolved.
Maintaining positive working relationships with clients to enable contracts to be renewed and negotiations to be concluded expediently.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with client contacts in order to gain a greater understanding of their business objectives
- Liaising with colleagues from Operations, Marketing and Customer Service to coordinate scheme launches and to ensure a high level of service to our clients
- Identifying opportunities to grow schemes, developing proposals and contributing to tenders to respond to client needs whilst supporting the Company's commercial objectives
- Providing regular reports on service performance, including vehicle utilisation and operation, using a variety of data sources to provide appropriate insight and analysis
- Continuously explore and promote the most efficient and effective working processes working closely with the Development Director to influence behavioural changes to improve the Company's profitability, customer service and to demonstrate continuous improvement
- Maintaining Salesforce records and any sales tools are completely up to date and are fed back through clear concise reporting
- Providing ad hoc support to colleagues across the group
Budget Responsibilities
- Ensure forecasting is accounted for and reported back accurately
- Ensure any sales expenses are controlled to the company policy
- Ensure targets set; revenue and contribution are exceeded in line with company plan
Skills Required
- Enthusiasm for providing a first-class service for public and private sector clients
- Ability to manage your own schedule and workload, and to take ownership of assignments
- Ability to collaborate with, and source information from, colleagues at different levels with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to interpret data, to draw conclusions and to communicate those conclusions to clients in non-technical language
- Broad understanding of car sharing (car clubs and pool car schemes) and the technology that underpins its operation
- Commercial awareness and ability to negotiate to support the Company's strategy
- Interest in transport, mobility, technology and/or city planning issues
- Experience of working in a transport, mobility or technology environment desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn and take on board feedback
- Possess a full, clean driving licence
