We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team for the night shift. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, manage backlogs, write user stories, and help translate business requirements into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document detailed business requirements. Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to ensure requirements are accurately captured.
  • User Stories & Backlog Management: Write clear, concise, and actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. Prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals, and manage backlog refinement in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Agile & Scrum Participation: Act as an integral part of the Scrum team, participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Work closely with the Scrum Master/PO to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. Communicate technical concepts and requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows, identify gaps, and propose improvements. Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes using technology.
  • Testing & Validation: Assist in the creation of test cases and perform acceptance testing to ensure the delivered features meet business requirements. Act as a point of contact for clarifications during testing phases.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation, including user stories, requirements, business rules, and process flows, ensuring all project details are readily accessible and up to date.
  • Fast-Paced Work Environment: Thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team, offering suggestions for process enhancements, tools, and techniques that will drive efficiency and quality.
Requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an Agile, technology-based, or AI/ML applications.
  • Agile & Scrum: Strong experience working in Agile environments, including extensive knowledge of Scrum ceremonies and practices. Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM, etc.) is a plus.
  • User Stories & Backlog Management: Expertise in writing well-structured user stories, managing backlogs, and working closely with product owners and development teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Technical Understanding: Comfortable working in a technology-focused environment, with a basic understanding of AI application development and the ability to translate technical requirements into business-friendly language.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executives at all levels.
  • Documentation: Proficient in documenting business requirements, user stories, business process flows, and other relevant materials.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, including process modeling, UML, or wire-framing.
  • Experience working in cloud-based environments or with SaaS solutions or AI/ML application development.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, etc.) is a plus.
