Job Summary: The Cleaner ensures that office and residential facilities are clean and in proper working order (e.g., washrooms are cleaned and stocked, garbage is collected). They frequently clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces, maintaining good hygiene on site.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Daily wiping and cleaning of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  2. Daily dusting and mopping of floors.
  3. Collecting kitchenware from offices and meeting rooms and washing dishes (daily and ongoing checks).
  4. Cleaning and disinfecting toilets daily and conducting ongoing checks.
  5. Ensuring toilets are stocked with toilet paper, soap, and hand towels daily and during checks.
  6. Housekeeping of all guesthouse rooms and premises.
  7. Cleaning windows and doors.
  8. Informing the office manager when supplies are low.
  9. Cleaning site entry areas, public areas, meeting rooms, clinics, reception areas, and halls daily.
  10. Cleaning toilets at least five times a day, including bowls, basins, mirrors, walls, and floors; maintaining supplies and noting completion on the Toilet Check Sheet.
  11. Cleaning and wiping building entrance glass doors and frames.
  12. Frequently cleaning all desks and chairs.
  13. Providing tea/mineral water service to visitors if required.

Perform other duties as assigned. The listed duties are representative of the work level and not necessarily all-inclusive.

Job Requirements

  • Typically, 1 year of relevant experience in cleaning services.
  • Sound physical health, stamina, and ability to perform duties.
  • Good hygiene practices.
  • Previous experience with International Medical Corps is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Fluency in required languages.
