Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world's largest media investment company, and is part of WPP. We are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently seeking a Manager Data & Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Associate Business Director – Digital & Data by quantifying and measuring the success of our campaigns and delivering insights to innovate our work at Mindshare. You will support media teams in measuring and optimizing campaign performance, as well as testing and trials.

Reporting Line: This role reports to the Associate Business Director – Digital & Data.

Goals & Milestones:

In three months:

  • Understand client requirements and portfolios.
  • Utilize data tools to provide strategic solutions.

In six months:

  • Gain in-depth technical knowledge of data and analytics tools and models to meet business objectives.
  • Establish effective communication with internal stakeholders.

In 12 months:

  • Begin working on core KPIs.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers within the pipeline.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Understand business needs, solve problems using data, and translate data into insights.
  • Support analytics initiatives impacting campaigns.
  • Develop measurement frameworks and optimize campaigns.
  • Become proficient with systems and tools within GroupM and the industry.
  • Build internal relationships across disciplines and countries.
  • Analyze data to find insights and formulate strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate on developing new tools and solutions.
  • Support reporting for clients and audit new external tools to expand market knowledge.
Candidate Profile:
  • Strong affinity for numbers and analysis, proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Proficiency in querying languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Experience creating dashboards with Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling (e.g., seasonality, multi-touch attribution).
  • Knowledge of statistical/programming languages like Python, R.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Marketing, or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in media/marketing data and analytics.
