Job Description

SQL Data Extraction:
  • Write and execute SQL queries involving multiple joins, subqueries, and nested queries to extract data.
  • Clean and prepare datasets according to the needs of the research department.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of data before delivering it to researchers or analysts.
  • Maintain and update documentation of data extraction processes.
  • Experience in optimizing SQL queries for performance, especially in large datasets.

Data Analysis
  • Assist the ORIC with clinical data analysis and preparation by implementation of statistical tests.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and insights.
  • Support data visualization efforts to help translate data into actionable insights using tools like Excel or Power BI.
  • Conducting training sessions on data extraction, data cleaning and data management.

Collaboration And Reporting
  • Work with other department to understand data requirements for ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to support their work with accurate and timely data.
  • Provide regular updates to supervisors regarding the status of data extraction and analysis tasks.
