We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive (Sales) to join our business development team. The successful candidate will manage our sales-qualified pipelines, from discovery calls to closing deals, nurturing existing clients, and helping them plan their upcoming projects with us.
This position is best suited if you:
- Have strong tech knowledge and business development/sales skills.
- Want to excel in IT services sales in general and emerging areas (selling AI solutions, etc.) in particular.
- Are a sharp learner, willing to take initiatives, and aspire to lead future sales/business development teams.
- Have proven experience as an account executive in an IT company.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate periodically with the company's tech teams and gain an in-depth understanding of the portfolio and the company's services.
- Conduct discovery calls with our sales-qualified leads, act as their technology consultant, pitch them solutions, and close the deals.
- Manage the company's sales pipeline and ensure maximum closings/revenue from that pipeline via follow-ups, sales strategies, discovery calls, and more.
- Onboard clients once the deal is closed and serve as the primary POC for the client throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with the service delivery and billing teams to ensure clients receive timely services and pay the company on time.
- Periodically receive client feedback on services and ensure timely communication between the client and engineering teams.
- Once the initial contract is over, stay in touch with our clients, help them document the next steps, and offer them upsells/cross-sells.
- Meet sales targets, prepare sales reports, and present them to the line manager and key stakeholders regularly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in IT/Business Development/Sales or a combination of these.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and IT services, including but not limited to Custom Software Development, Mobile & Web App Development, AI/ML solutions.
- Good understanding of how digital products are designed and developed, and how engineering teams work. You will act as a technology consultant in discovery calls and suggest software solutions to our clients with minimal reliance on our engineering teams.
- 2+ years of experience as an account executive in an IT company.
- Excellent verbal communication and sales development/closing skills.
Timings & Location:
During Training (1st Month Only): 3 PM—12 AM (1 hour dinner break)
The first 4 hours (3 PM - 7 PM) in our office in Lahore will be needed.
Post Training: 5 PM - 2 AM remote (1 hour dinner break)
Candidates from Lahore are preferred as the team member may be called in the office occasionally for events or meetings as needed.
