Senior PHP Backend Developer / AI Integration Expertise

We're hiring a Senior PHP Backend Developer with expertise in AI integration for a full-time remote position based in Pakistan at NovaTechX. Join our innovative, U.S.-based technology company focused on emerging markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using PHP (Laravel preferred)
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Implement C++ extensions for intensive operations
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
  • Build scalable microservices for global platforms
  • Write secure, maintainable code with documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of PHP backend development experience
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Laravel or similar frameworks
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and authentication
  • Proven experience with C++ integration
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern workflows
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred:
  • Remote work experience or with international teams
  • Knowledge of frontend tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience in ed-tech, health-tech, or social impact platforms
