
Head of HR New Businesses

Job Summary:
The Head of New Businesses & Compliance will lead strategic HR initiatives, focusing on the seamless integration of new business ventures.
In our new businesses, the position will drive employee engagement, organizational performance, develop talent pipelines, oversee succession management, and implement competitive compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent.
In addition to providing HR leadership to the new businesses, this role is instrumental in fostering culture that aligns with our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and ensures compliance of HR function in line with COSO level 4.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Leadership for New Business Ventures
- Provide strategic HR leadership for new business ventures, ensuring alignment with organizational & holistic HR strategy.
- Lead the HR integration for new business ventures, ensuring smooth onboarding and cultural alignment.
- Develop and implement HR frameworks that promote a value-based culture, aligned with corporate values and business objectives.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work environment, enhancing satisfaction and retention.
- Establish talent pipelines to support the growth and expansion of new business ventures, ensuring a steady supply of capable leaders.
- Oversee succession management processes to identify and prepare future leaders within the organization.
- Implement talent development programs that support skill enhancement and career progression.
2. Employee Value Proposition
- Promote and integrate the EVP, across all HR practices, reinforcing the organization's commitment to its employees.
- Work closely with business leaders to ensure that the EVP is consistently reflected in recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies.
3. Internal & Social Media Communication
- Formulate and execute internal communication strategies that reflect the EVP, ensuring coherence in messaging throughout the organization.
- Oversee and innovate social media strategies to strengthen and maintain a compelling employer brand.
4. Manager Quality Performance Index
- Establish a comprehensive Manager Quality Performance strategy to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of managers.
- Leverage the MQPI survey feedback to develop a detailed action plan addressing the development areas for managers and implement initiatives to support their growth.
5. Organizational Health Survey
- Lead the design and implementation of the Organizational Health Survey to derive actionable insights on employee sentiment and workplace culture.
- Translate survey findings into strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational health.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 16+ years of experience in human resources, with a strong background in HR leadership, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives.
SHRM – SCP or Chartered Membership or Chartered Fellowship is preferred.
Proven track record in ensuring HR compliance, including COSO implementation, and experience in conducting HR audits.
