Job Opportunity: Sr. Associate Director, Tech SME at HSBC

HSBC, one of the world's largest banking and financial services organizations, is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Sr. Associate Director, Tech SME. We operate in 64 countries and territories, aiming to support business growth and economic prosperity while helping individuals fulfill their ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage stakeholders effectively and collaborate with clients globally.
  2. Lead teams using agile methodologies, facilitating all agile ceremonies.
  3. Manage a POD of developers and testers, including estimation, release management, and deployments.
  4. Work with ITSM, ITOM (Event Management, Integrations, CMDB), and tools such as Smart Cloud Control Desk (Maximo), IBM Tivoli Netcool, and TBSM.
  5. Create and implement business rules, UI actions, policies, and client scripts in ServiceNow.
  6. Identify issues and gaps in ITSM and ITOM modules, leveraging extensive ServiceNow development, integration, and architecture experience.
  7. Handle system activities like upgrades, configuring mid servers, troubleshooting, and verifying logs.
  8. Develop Java-based components for ServiceNow integrations.
  9. Configure Event Management, including mapping rules and alert rules.
  10. Customize email notifications, inbound email actions, reports, and dashboards.
  11. Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications via REST and SOAP APIs.
  12. Create dashboards and homepages for stakeholders.
  13. Configure access controls and provide backup support for CMDB activities.
  14. Develop custom applications and modules in ServiceNow.
  15. Manage configuration activities such as roles, profiles, email services, workflows, and approvals.
  16. Develop KPIs and generate performance metrics using ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
  17. Design and develop custom applications leveraging ServiceNow's PaaS capabilities.
  18. Stay updated with ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends.
  19. Manage ServiceNow environment upgrades.
