We are seeking a Technology Service Desk Team Member to join our Call Centre team.
About the Role:
As a Technology Service Desk Team member, you will provide high levels of customer service through effective delivery of first level technical, operational and procedural support for all systems and equipment used across our stores and Store Support Centres whilst meeting agreed services levels.
You will be responsible for the monitoring of all systems operations and procedures to ensure the efficient operation and completeness of all monitoring processes.
As a Technology Service Desk Team Member, you will:
- Provide first level remote support for all IT systems and equipment used throughout the company, with the goal to achieve a 60% resolution of calls at first level within target time frame of 6min avg duration.
- Manage queries, incidents and requests from Team Members, ensuring details are captured into the Service Desk system and progress and outcomes communicated according to agreed service levels and resolution targets.
- Apply problem resolution skills to all support calls to accurately identify the details of the problem to assist with the resolution.
- Work closely with higher level Infrastructure, Operations and Applications teams to ensure major incidents, changes and projects are handled effectively and understood by our Team Members.
- Promptly resolve problems, troubleshoot & escalate to second, third level support and assist the broader team in providing a stable, effective IT solution for the business.
- Ensure all customers receive a high-quality experience during incident identification and resolution by maintaining a high standard when communicating either personally or verbally with our suppliers, customers internal or external and any members of the public.
- E nsure all computer systems have a high level of availability through ongoing monitoring of all systems as per agreed instructions.
- Monitor all routine processes, including Overnight, End of Month and End of Period processes to ensure proper completion and to generate morning and afternoon checklists identifying resulting activities.
About You
You are a passionate technologist, customer focused, outcome driven team player who has excellent problem-solving skills which coupled with your tenacity to pursue and resolve ongoing issues has seen you excel in your career thus far and resulted in you being highly responsive to your customer needs. Adept at remaining calm under pressure you have an excellent telephone manner and great communication skills.
You will also have:
- Exposure to Retail Point of Sale Systems
- Exposure to IT Service Management Software
- Familiarity with components of the Bunnings production environment
- Windows, AD, Office and MySQL skills
