We are seeking a highly skilled SQA Engineer with a strong background in mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and working closely with our development team to ensure our mobile apps are of the highest quality. You will play a key role in ensuring that our mobile applications are user-friendly, functional, and meet our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and report bugs and issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the development, design, and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on quality issues.
  • Proficiency in Postmanand API testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Work with developers to resolve defects and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
  • Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement in testing practices.
  • Conduct usability testing and ensure the application meets the intended user experience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably with a focus on mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, including their development and testing frameworks.
  • Postman
  • Experience with manual testing and an understanding of different types of testing (functional, performance, usability, etc.).
  • 1.5 + years relevant testing experience
