Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Manager located in Islamabad at MMBA Accountants. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing financial advice, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They will also be involved in business development and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Assist clients in maintaining their books as required, including inputting invoices, bank transactions, journals, and other transactions; reconcile bank transactions.
  • Prepare VAT returns ahead of deadlines for review and approval.
  • Allocate work to junior staff, provide training, and manage team members.
  • Prepare final accounts, company tax returns, personal tax, and partnership returns.
  • Help manage portfolios to ensure work is completed according to clients' schedules.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining effective systems and controls for compliance with applicable regulations, including Money Laundering Regulations.
  • Complete and submit timesheets within set deadlines.

Maintain client confidentiality both inside and outside the office, including on client premises.

Qualifications include being ACCA qualified or a finalist with at least 4 years of experience.
