IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The role of Manager Accounts is to prepare and present the standalone financial statements of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Prepare the company's statutory financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis for review by senior management.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary financial information, addressing audit observations, and implementing agreed recommendations.
  • Manage monthly closing activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely submission of financial reports.
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the applicable local legal framework.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, evaluate financial performance, and support business decision-making.
  • Liaise with regional teams and other departments to collect financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective cost control measures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

  • ACCA/CA Finalist/CAF Qualified
  • Degree from HEC recognized university (MBA, BS Accounting & Finance)

Competencies:

Qualified to work in Corporate Finance and overseeing to addon to cost management strategy in line with the organization's financial requirements.
