Computer Research (Pvt) Ltd. [CRPL], established in 1989, specialises in Software, Hardware, and Networking solutions for the Telecommunication Industry. CRPL offers a broad range of Telecom BSS/OSS solutions and specialised consultancy services to optimise existing systems and operations, outsourcing services to help clients focus on their core business.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Application Support Engineer located in Karāchi. The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical and application support, troubleshooting issues, and utilising analytical skills to resolve customer inquiries related to CRPL's telecom solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1/L2 application support for .net-based applications
  • Handle queries and bug reports, and ensure timely resolution
  • Analyse, write, and debug SQL and PL/SQL scripts
  • Work with REST APIs and troubleshoot service-level issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
  • Monitor system performance and suggest improvements
  • Maintain documentation related to support and fixes

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of .NET Framework (C# / ASP.NET)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle/SQL Server)
  • Experience working with REST APIs and integration services
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and support procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
