Business Development Associate

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the company's business development strategies and plans to achieve revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and stay updated on market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
  • Will be responsible to handle freelance platforms Upwork/Fiver and proposal writing for the bidding purpose.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a sales pipeline by identifying potential clients and actively pursuing new business leads through various channels.
  • Assist in conducting thorough market analysis to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and contribute to tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with the line manager and other team members to nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and drive long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Support in negotiating and closing business deals, contracts, and agreements under the guidance of the line manager.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and successful project delivery.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on business development activities, sales metrics, and performance against targets to senior management, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities, and provide recommendations for business growth and expansion.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's brand presence and build professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge in business development, specifically within the domain of Microsoft Technology services in the IT Services/ Software Development company.
  • Freelance platforms like Upwork and Fiver experience.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze market data effectively.
  • Negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented individual with a strong drive for achieving targets and contributing to business growth.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to take initiative and identify opportunities.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the overall success of the business development team.
  • Knowledge of business development strategies, market analysis, and sales techniques.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations is a key requirement for this role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
  • 0-6 months of experience, including internships.
