Ibex, for one of it's global client, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Running point on all reporting needs for the consolidation team, with a core focus on reporting financial and same store metrics as well as building out mechanisms for the information to be accessible
• Developing a standardized set of reports or dashboards that help support monthly and quarterly presentations
• Liaise with different departments (accounting, asset mgmt, operations, finance) as required to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Complete variance analyses and provide commentary to craft a narrative of current financial performance versus budget or prior periods
• Collaborate with leadership and other team members to guide the identification of prioritized business questions and approaches to uncover new insights, enhanced or new report creation and ongoing performance monitoring
• Interfacing with the IT organization to ensure alignment between data and analytics platforms and the business requirements
• Create uniform procedures, processes and documentation to ensure the institutionalization of reporting knowledge

The Requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent financial literacy, excel at operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, and will be crucial in advancing insights and solutions through analytics, data science and thoughtful trend and variance analysis. Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with major in finance or accounting
• Problem solver with great attention to detail, can work with little supervision, multi-task, and learn quickly
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Must have strong understanding of financial statements (IS, BC, CFS) in addition to direct experience in the fields of either financial statement analysis, variance reporting, accounting or FP&A
• 3 to 8 years of experience performing the duties outlined above in a professional environment
• 2+ years of experience working in data analytics with proven ability to produce significant and valuable insights
• Must work collaboratively across organizations, developing creative solutions and aligning diverse viewpoints around goals
• Must work effectively with others to achieve shared goals through cooperation, knowledge sharing, joint problem-solving, and celebrating success
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – including ability to effectively present complex data to senior management, provide narrative descriptions for financial performance, and distill large amounts of information down into a digestible format
• Strong experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Powerpoint and Excel a must), as well experience with business intelligence systems (e.g. Oracle BI, PowerBI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in real estate accounting software, specifically Yardi, is a plus
• Real estate finance experience and knowledge of real estate accounting concepts as well as GAAP reporting
• Public company reporting experience
• Familiarity with consolidation processes in a global corporate structure, including combining financial results across multiple entities, handling intercompany eliminations, and aligning reports for company-wide financial statements
• Prior involvement in financial system implementations or upgrades
