Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Staff Accountant, located on-site in Karachi. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budget preparation, and audits. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves close collaboration with other departments to support overall financial health and decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audits
  • Expertise in maintaining accurate financial records and managing tax filings
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective inter-departmental collaboration
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Relevant experience in financial services or a similar industry is highly beneficial
  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
