Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Divisional Asset (tools and equipment) utilization.
  • Collaborate with operations and planning to ensure tools/equipment availability for Base maintenance operations; actively source external loans to create revenue from underutilized tools/equipment.
  • Monitor and update the Bill of Tools (BOT) online folders; follow up on tool loans to support operational needs.
  • Maintain the tools and equipment rental price catalog through periodic reviews.
  • Analyze cost benefits for tool purchasing and loaning decisions.
  • Maintain supplier and service provider contracts, ensuring validity and service levels.
  • Update processes and SOPs to meet quality and financial compliance requirements (e.g., asset purchasing, scrapping, verification, accountability).
  • Manage the flow of items sent out for calibration, testing, or proof loading without disrupting operations.
  • Prepare contracts and project documents for services engaged by the tool stores.
  • Monitor Tool Change Bulletins and follow up on manufacturer-recommended actions.
  • Support and manage mini tool stores at each operational line.
  • Promote continuous improvement culture within the team; enhance process efficiencies and implement cost-saving projects.
  • Oversee the control, administration, and duties of staff under your charge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head BM (Quality Safety Compliance & Production Support Services).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics) or Business.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
  • Excellent team player with analytical, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • Related experience in Base Maintenance or aircraft hangar environments is advantageous.
