Tech Bridge Consultancy is looking for a talented and reliable Ruby on Rails Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in building web applications.. You will work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, and scale Ruby on Rails applications.

· Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

· Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases and write optimized queries.

· Implement background jobs using Sidekiq or similar tools.

· Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.

· Collaborate with front-end developers and designers.

· Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.

· Ensure application security, data protection, and best practices.

Required Skills

· 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails.

· Deep expertise in the Ruby on Rails framework, including MVC architecture, Active Record, routing, and Action Pack.

· Proficient in Ruby , Active Record , SQL , MongoDB and background jobs.

· Extensive experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations.

· Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

· Comfortable with Agile methodologies.

· Experience with performance tuning, caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached), and query optimization.

· Proficiency in writing comprehensive automated tests using RSpec (or Minitest) and Capybara.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to haves:

· Prior experience working in a logistics , transportation , or supply chain Industry.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms likeHeroku , AWS , or Docker.

· Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Stimulus)

· Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in sprints.

Availability for immediate joining is a strong plus.
