Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivatedRuby on Rails Developerwith a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Ruby on Rails development, experience with modern web development practices, and a passion for building high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Applications:Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Collaborate with Teams:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Code Quality:Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging:Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues in existing applications.
  • Feature Implementation:Implement new features and enhancements based on user feedback and business requirements.
  • Code Reviews:Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and systems.
  • Testing:Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code reliability and application stability.
  • Continuous Learning:Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Experience:2-3 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Front-End Frameworks:Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Project Management:Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Trello).

Good to have

  • DevOps Knowledge:Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes).
  • Node or Python:knowledge of NodeJS or Python is a plus.
  • Unit Testing:Familiarity with unit testing principles and frameworks is a plus.
