Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The main purpose of this position is to assist in performing risk management, internal controls, and governance of Information Technology systems, business applications, and IT infrastructure. The incumbent is responsible for supporting senior management to develop, manage, and execute an audit plan using a risk-based approach, including any risks and controls identified by management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to the Manager – IT & Infrastructure in developing the annual internal audit plan for review and approval by the Chief Internal Auditor and Audit Committee.
  • Support and assist in developing internal audit and assurance assignments related to Information Technology systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist in preparing an audit framework, standard templates, and checklists in the context of the approved audit plan across the organization.
  • Conduct IT audits covering system applications and IT processes, and prepare reports for review by the Manager.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for the Audit Committee to discuss internal audit reports.
  • Assist in reviewing IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning/disaster recovery, and information security to ensure adequate internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with assigned roles.
  • Ensure compliance with the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
  • Undertake any other assignments as instructed by senior management.
