About the role:

As Manager Data Segment, you will drive initiatives that shape Telenor's direction in achieving customer and revenue goals through analyzing customer insights using behavioral and research data sets.

Your Impactful Goals will include:

The position requires working under the supervision of the Senior Manager Data Segment to implement strategic initiatives and manage daily analytical and reporting tasks:

  1. Maintain reports and dashboards to monitor customer behaviors such as subscribers, churners, rejoiners, engagement, and other KPIs.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders from Business Intelligence, Technology, Sales, and Product Development to advance the Segment's internet-related agenda.
  3. Provide deeper insights on opportunities and past initiatives to support data-driven decision-making.
  4. Focus on key objectives like subscriber growth, revenue increase, product development, data adoption, churn reduction, and market penetration.

Your Typical day at work

  1. Lead the team in identifying opportunities and executing initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
  2. Guide analytical work, exploring behavioral data and additional dimensions such as geography, payment types, and lifecycle.
  3. Translate opportunities into actionable initiatives and oversee their execution through product development.
  4. Develop comprehensive communication plans for new initiatives.
  5. Coordinate with Sales, Distribution, and regional teams to monitor product uptake, sales quality, data engagement, and market penetration.
  6. Assist in formulating strategies for Telenor's internet and beyond.
  7. Foster development and engagement within the team.

What we are looking for?

Education: MBA, BBA, Economics, or Mathematics majors.

Work experience:

  1. 4-5 years in related roles.
  2. Experience analyzing business trends and monitoring KPIs.
  3. Experience in product development and execution.
  4. Experience in business planning, forecasting, and developing business cases based on current trends.

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas:

  1. Strong math, stats, and analytical skills with good business and marketing understanding.
  2. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  3. Strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  5. Creative problem-solving abilities.
