We are seeking a dynamic, highly experienced, and operationally strong Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our nationwide Cash Processing Cell operations. As the second-in-command to the CEO, the COO will oversee the end-to-end cash sorting, processing, and handling operations across Pakistan, ensuring maximum efficiency, security, regulatory compliance, and service excellence.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, highly experienced, and operationally strong Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our nationwide Cash Processing Cell operations. As the second-in-command to the CEO, the COO will oversee the end-to-end cash sorting, processing, and handling operations across Pakistan, ensuring maximum efficiency, security, regulatory compliance, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all Cash Processing Centers (CPCs) across Pakistan.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cash sorting, bundling, verification, counterfeit detection, and packaging.
• Align operations with the organization's long-term vision, policies, and regulatory requirements (SBP and client banks).
• Drive automation and modernization initiatives for enhanced efficiency and cost control.

People & Performance Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage regional and zonal operations teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Build a high-performing workforce through training, KPIs, and structured appraisals.
• Foster a culture of discipline, compliance, and customer-first service in all CPCs.

Process, Security & Compliance Oversight

• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, security protocols, and compliance standards across all CPCs.
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to manage risk and ensure transparency.
• Ensure optimal coordination with armored transportation teams, banking clients, and SBP where applicable.

Operational Control & Resource Management

• Oversee daily operations related to sorting of ATM fit/unfit notes, mutilated currency, and fitness analysis.
• Ensure adequate capacity planning of machines, manpower, shifts, and infrastructure across CPCs.
• Maintain full accountability of processed volumes, reporting accuracy, and MIS dashboards.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key liaison between the CEO's office and all regional CPC operations.
• Represent the company in high-level meetings with banking partners and regulators.
• Ensure client SLAs are achieved and customer satisfaction is consistently high.

Requirements:Education:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or equivalent from a recognized university.

Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the banking, CIT, or cash processing industry.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and geographically dispersed operations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Deep understanding of cash handling, currency verification, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a highly regulated and time-sensitive environment.
• Proficiency in ERP/MIS systems and operational reporting tools.

Location Mobility:

Willingness to travel across Pakistan for operational audits, launches, and troubleshooting.
