SEO Specialist (Off-Page SEO & Linkbuilding)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated SEO Specialist with a focus on Off-Page SEO and Backlinking to enhance our website's visibility and drive organic traffic. This hybrid role offers flexibility, primarily remote work. The candidate will independently create content for off-page SEO, manage backlink strategies, and optimize content across platforms. Collaboration with marketing and design teams is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Backlink Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative sites.
  • Content Creation: Independently create engaging content like guest posts, articles, and infographics to support backlink efforts.
  • Outreach Campaigns: Reach out to bloggers, influencers, and platforms to secure backlinks.
  • Backlink Monitoring: Regularly assess backlink quality and disavow harmful links.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors' backlink profiles to find link-building opportunities.
Content Optimization
  • Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize content supporting SEO goals.
  • Provide recommendations for content structure, keyword use, and internal linking.
  • Adapt content for various channels, ensuring SEO optimization and engagement.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify optimization and backlinking opportunities.
SEO Strategy & Analysis
  • Optimize on-page elements like meta tags, headers, and images.
  • Use SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to monitor performance.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to improve strategies and identify opportunities.
Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Work with marketing, design, and development teams for cohesive SEO strategies.
  • Participate in planning sessions for content strategies aligned with SEO and marketing goals.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in SEO, especially off-page and backlinks.
  • Ability to create content independently for SEO purposes.
  • Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Strong communication skills for outreach and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Shopify SEO features.
  • Basic understanding of technical SEO (site speed, mobile responsiveness).
  • Basic HTML and web design knowledge.
