Location: ISLAMABAD

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years with a large IT systems integrator or enterprise infrastructure deployment team

Technologies: IT infrastructure deployment and post-sales support for enterprise environments (e.g., enterprise storage, cloud infrastructure, backup solutions, HPC, virtualization, etc.), with hands-on experience in Huawei, Dell EMC, IBM, VMware, H3C, Sangfor, HPE, Oracle, Veeam, and similar platforms

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field + certification in related domain (e.g. HCIE Storage, VCAP, VCP, etc.)

Job Summary/Objective:

As a Post-sales IT Systems Expert, you will be responsible for the implementation, integration, and support of advanced IT infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. Your focus will be on ensuring high-performance delivery of solutions involving compute, storage, virtualization, and backup, across multi-vendor environments. You will lead the implementation team and work closely with project managers, OEMs, and client IT teams to ensure smooth deployment, knowledge transfer, and post-deployment support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deployment, configuration, and integration of IT infrastructure solutions across on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Provide hands-on support for systems involving servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Perform system validation, acceptance testing, and post-deployment health checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware and software layers.
• Maintain direct coordination with OEMs (Huawei, Dell EMC, VMware, etc.) for escalations, RMA processing, and firmware updates.
• Assist in project planning and implementation schedules in coordination with the PMO.
• Prepare implementation documentation, handover documents, and as-built configurations.
• Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions post-deployment.
• Maintain inventory of deployed solutions and licenses, ensuring lifecycle management.
• Proactively monitor system performance and apply best practices for performance tuning.
• Collaborate with the sales and presales team during solution refinement stages and post-project evaluations.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and stay aligned with evolving industry trends, OEM standards, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience in deploying and supporting IT hardware: servers, SAN/NAS storage, backup systems, and hypervisors.
• In-depth understanding of multi-vendor environments (Huawei, Dell EMC, VMware, Veeam, H3C, etc.).
• Solid troubleshooting skills in enterprise deployments including failover testing, disaster recovery setups, and firmware upgrades.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a business context.
• Familiarity with post-sales support processes including SLA adherence and ticketing systems.

• VCP-DCV / VCAP
• DCS-IS
• H3C Certified Systems Engineer
• VMCE / VMCA

Expected knowledge/awareness of:

Data Centre design & operational frameworks. Cloud integration standards and hybrid deployments. Compliance and governance frameworks (beneficial but not mandatory):
