Home Shopping Network is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate to join our team in the position of Manager - Computer Department.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Researching laptops, computers, servers, accessories, and related products to keep the category updated.
  2. Listing all computing-related products on the website and maintaining updated inventory.
  3. Finding local and international prices and vendors for computer/laptop-related products.
  4. Maintaining healthy business relationships with vendors.
  5. Coordinating and assisting customers in finding the right products that fulfill their needs, including quoting products that fit their budget.
  6. Guiding customers about products' technicalities.
  7. Quoting prices for products that customers want to sell back to HSN under an exchange facility.
  8. Handling callback requests from customers and price-beating policy requests, maintaining competitive pricing while ensuring a sufficient profit margin.
  9. Introducing the latest products on the website as soon as they launch in UAE/USA/Locally.
  10. Answering customers' daily queries via comments, video calls, audio calls, and chat.
  11. Updating prices of products daily from local/international vendors.
  12. Introducing new vendors, locally and in UAE.
  13. Coordinating with the Purchase department regarding daily purchases and checking the products for quality before shipping to customers.
Job Specification

Skills :

  • Deep and comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware.
  • Ability to provide technical support with satisfactory reasoning.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Mac GUI and hardware.
  • Problem solver - able to troubleshoot and solve hardware/software-related errors over the phone in an elaborative and simplistic way.
  • Able to assemble/disassemble computer hardware (i.e., laptops, PCs, servers).
  • Updated with the latest standards and trends related to the Computer Department.
  • Ability to understand customers' needs and provide information accordingly.
  • Efficient work habits.
  • Strong work ethic and high productivity.
  • Professionalism and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English and Urdu communication skills.
  • Active and energetic.
  • Sharp and fast.
Minimum Qualification :
Bachelors/Masters
Working Hours: 10 Hours (10:00 am - 8:00 pm)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
