INTECH Process Automation is looking to hire a Process Engineer with hands-on process design experience.

Below are some of the main responsibilities of the position:

  • Supervise and lookover the design of process equipment like Pressure Vessels, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, Separators, Process Skids Packages, Chemical Injection Skids etc.
  • Participating and closing out the recommendations of studies like HAZOP, HAZID, PHA, SIL and Risk management
  • Preparation of Basis of Design, Process Design Criteria,
  • Development of PFD's & P&ID's, Instrument's Process Datasheets (Flow Instruments, Control Valves & Relief Valves), Equipment List, Line List, Tie-in & Utility List
  • Technical bid evaluations and comparative analysis. Experience in proposals, tenders, and bidding procedures is a plus.
  • The project, procurement management, and cost-controlling abilities
  • Vendor and subcontractor management, Inter-discipline coordination, customer conflict resolution, change order management and experience in developing goal-oriented teams.
  • Handle the hazardous areas with proper classification and according to other SOP's such as Fireproofing, HSE philosophy, Dispersion Analysis, Surge Analysis, Dynamic Simulations, ITB, vendor documents review, technical bid evaluation, technical report writing, and technical design reviews

Requirements:
  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering
  • Aspiring candidate must have 6+ years of design experience.
  • Must know FEED, detailed design of brownfield and green field projects in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Well versed with Control Valves & PRV/PSV Sizing
  • Should be able to perform Pump & Compressor Hydraulic Calculations & Line Sizing, Blowdown Calculations, Hydrate formation study.
  • Must be able to prepare calculation sheets in excel where necessary
  • Ability to apply basic and advanced engineering domain knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid flow and heat transfer in conjunction with industrial experience
  • A hunger for solving problems using out of the box thinking and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience working with teams in high pace environment.
  • Ability to communicate well with co-workers and clients.
  • Should be comfortable working in independent and collaborative in nature.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites across Pakistan and Globe for projects.

Software Skills
  • Experience in using the following modelling & simulation tools is highly desired:

ASPEN HYSYS, ASPEN EDR (Shell & Tube / Air cooler), and ASPEN PLUS FLARENET, FLARESIM, PIPESIM, PIPENET
  • Candidate should be motivated individual to learn new software applications and technologies for growth in multi skillset capacity.
