Liberty Power Tech is a 200 MW IPP with around-the-clock supervision/operation (24x7). The Boiler Engineer is responsible for the smooth operation of steam turbines, waste heat recovery boilers and reverse osmosis plants, reports to the operation manager, and assists with daily tasks related to the steam system.

Responsibilities
  • Operation & maintenance planning, resource planning and scheduling related to the steam system.
  • Provide comments/feedback to maintenance.
  • Implement scheduled preventive maintenance and annual inspection activities for all exhaust gas boilers, steam turbine and its auxiliary equipment.
  • Inspect maintenance work of subordinates to ensure completion as scheduled and compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation of steam system activities.
  • Upgrade skill and knowledge of associates (steam system and auxiliary equipment hands-on training).
  • Inspect regularly the condition and availability of equipment and tools needed for maintenance work dispatch.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and maintenance jobs.
  • Follow all safety regulations.
  • Maintain all parameters of the steam system including HRSGs, steam turbine and related auxiliaries.
  • Report abnormalities in the steam system to the Shift Engineer.
  • Assist Lab Chemist in implementing boiler and steam system quality controls.
  • Carry out any other job assigned.

Qualifications and experience

Diploma/ BE in Mechanical

Minimum 5 years of experience.
