The incumbent will be responsible for executing MRP and ensuring enabling material scheduling to keep operational and production continuity of GETZ Plant. The incumbent needs to work closely with internal and external customers to ensure supply of materials to satisfy production requirements, and must be able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet demand requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring material scheduling strategy and effective processes are in place to meet production requirements while optimizing costs.
  • Ensuring the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system is effective and that master data is accurate and up to date.
  • Providing strategic and operational material flow information and reports to others in the business as needed
  • Creating material requisition for Raw materials of GETZ Plant, and taking ownership of material planning issues, including over or under delivery, and following up on actions related to material shortages affecting production.
  • Managing inventory risk and ensuring contingency plans are in place and ensuring the integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience
  • The candidate must have knowledge about material planning and scheduling, inventory management and risk assessment, Bill of Materials (BOM) integrity, and good problem solving skills
  • The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication
