Senior Finance Officer

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To support the Deputy Finance / Finance Manager with business accounting activities. This includes Ecommerce bookkeeping, reconciling company accounts, performing day to day activities and assisting in month end closings.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

1. Preparation and verification of all type of vouchers and recording those into the financial management system (FMS)
2. Process and verify Bank Reconciliations and Vendor Reconciliations.
3. Accounts payable management including keeping record of invoice, verification, allocation, posting, reconciliation and payment;
4. Review and finalize payments against the invoices received from the Ecommerce platforms, as per the authorization matrix.
5. Assisting in Preparing prepayments schedule.
6. Adhere to the budget of expenses set by the management and timely report on changes required to the forecast.
7. FAR preparation and Deprecation run.
8. Preparation of Financial statements and Tax Return as per US law.
9. Prepare monthly statement of tax deducted as per US law.

General Tasks

1. Assist in Adhoc reporting to the management;
2. Support month-end and year-end closing process;
3. Bring improvements to the process of financial reporting to bring efficiency;
4. Correspondence with US vendors through written and oral communication for compliance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelors or Master's Degree in Finance.

2 – 3 years of relevant experience (Ecommerce background will be preferable)

OTHER SKILLS

1. Solid accounting knowledge with a demonstration towards an understanding of all aspects of budgets, auditing reports, financial, forecasts.
2. Leadership skills with ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
3. Quick learner with ability to grasp new ideas, methods and technologies rapidly.
4. Good hands-on MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and PP)
5. Must have good knowledge of QuickBooks online.
6. Possess excellent relationship development skills; among internal and external vendors and team members.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Able to multitask & prioritize.

Job Timings: Monday to Friday (02:00 PM to 11:00 PM)
