Experience

  • Extensive experience in delivering Oracle ERP Financials solutions (including Cloud) as a Functional Consultant, with a significant focus on customer-side roles.
  • Must have client-facing experience and must have excellent communication skills.
  • Strong expertise in key financial processes with an understanding of EPM capabilities and functionality (ideal).
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with Implementation team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 full life cycle end-to-end implementation projects implementing Financials module.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SMEs during workshops and sessions to capture requirements accurately and work with implementation partner functional consultants to ensure the solutions align with business needs.
  • Develop business scenarios and test scripts based on the initial work done by the implementation partner.
  • Work closely with the partner to address gaps through Sprints, validating design work before showcases to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Support end users and system accountants with knowledge transfer sessions to ensure a clear understanding of the solution and build in-house support capabilities.
  • Analyze and resolve functional design challenges by working with the implementation partner to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Create and deliver end-user training materials.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to create configuration data for the implementation partner (e.g., CoA, project structures, budget structures).
  • Develop or update existing SOPs.
  • Define hierarchies and workflow requirements for the implementation partner.
  • Review detailed functional specifications from the implementation partner, recommending changes or approvals.
  • Identify further opportunities for process improvements, working closely with the business and implementation partner.
  • Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Assist business users and SMEs with data mapping from legacy systems to target systems.
