Qualification

Job Description:

PhD in one of the following fields from an HEC-recognized university:

  • Computer Science
  • Information Security
  • Cyber Security

Experience

15 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution or 15 years of professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization, out of which 5 years must be teaching experience OR 10 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.

Publications

At least 15 research publications, with a minimum of 5 in the last five years, in HEC/PEC recognized journals.

Terms and Conditions

  • Candidates must attach scanned copies of their academic and professional documents.
  • Last degree/certificate must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be deemed ineligible due to:

  • Low academic profile (e.g., 3rd division in academic career).
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service or lacking an NOC from the Head of Institution.
  • In pursuit of the required degree.
  • Medical unfitness.
  • Serving in government departments or armed forces without prior NOC.
  • Late or incomplete applications.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. No TA/DA will be provided.

The position is based in Karachi at the Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC).
